Ogun State Government says it will continue to strategise to discover more viable resources that can help add value to the economy of the State, with a view to promoting diversification policy of the Federal Government.
The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun stated this at the Cassava Stakeholders meeting, organised by the Ministry of Rural Development in conjunction with the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF) at Oke mosan in Abeokuta.
Represented by his Deputy, Chief. (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga, Senator Amosun reaffirmed his administration's determination to continuously support Agriculture and other non Oil sectors by making them viable as sources of generating income into Government's coffer.
According to him, ‘’Government has continued to make allocation of lands, agricultural loans and other provisions for farming activities accessible to farmers as part of efforts to boost production of food and cash crops for local and foreign earnings.’’
