The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has charged the children across the nation to always show love for each other, respect their parents and help others.
Governor Amosun gave the charge on Thursday when he visited the over 180 Young Muslims from the 36 states of the federation who converged in Abeokuta for Islamic lecture and training.
Governor Amosun said if children learn to obey their parents and and imbibe the virtues of love from their childhood, the home, state and the nation at large would develop.
Speaking on the theme of the training, "Ending Violence Against children", Governor Amosun enjoined the children to be bold to speak out assuring that his government would always do the needful to protect the right of the children.
Speaking with journalists, the representative of the National Children Affairs Secretary of NASFAT, Alhaja Nurat Alaraba said the training was aimed at teaching the young children to be bold to speak out whenever being faced with any form of violence.
Alhaja Alaraba who appreciated the Governor for identifying with the children despite his tight schedule said this year's training was the turn of Ogun Zone.
