She said that three students were presented by the State Government to the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology (FMCT) for the qualifying examination following series of highly competitive test where she scored 800 at examination among the best 20 of the 196 participants. The Director also hinted that the beneficiary would embark on a two-week all expenses paid trip to China in the month of October which would be followed by another three month internship programme in November at the Huwaei Training Centre in Lagos and Abuja.
Adekunte disclosed further that the training programme was one of the various ICT initiatives of the Federal Government in conjunction with all the 36 States in the country aimed at bringing to the barest minimum the rate of unemployment in the Country as well as enhancing capacity building in Information Technology. The beneficiary, Miss Adeyemi appreciated the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration for the opportunities and support, promising to be a good ambassador of the State in China.
