Amosun Bears His mind on Al-Hassan's stand for Atiku

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has bore his mind on the open declaration of the Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Alhaja Aisha Al-Hassan to stand for Atiku Abubakar come 2019 saying he saluted her courage but just disappointed.

Governor Amosun made this known in Abeokuta while speaking with journalists saying "though she is entitled to her own opinion at any point in time but she should have just resigned her appointment" because her loyalty cannot be in two places.

According to the Governor, "her falling short of resigning takes everything away from what she said and it is clear that she will no longer be contributing to the development of the present administration."

Speaking on whether the President would run for 2019 election, Governor Amosun said "the only thing that can prevent President Muhammad Buhari from contesting is if his health cannot take it".

The Governor disclosed that "if not for this present administration, only God knows where Nigeria would have been" saying "when the government came on board, it was like jumping into the pool at the deep end".

Governor Amosun further revealed that the President Muhammad led administration is doing well in its three cardinal programs which includes; the fight against insurgency and insecurity, the anti-corruption war and the economy recovery through serious diversification drive.
