Ogun State Government has announced the closure of all markets and public schools in the Remo Zone of the State on Wednesday, 25th November, 2015. A release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa stated that the closure was a mark of respect for the late Matriarch of the Awolowo dynasty, Chief (Mrs) Hanah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo whose remains would be buried on that day. The release indicated that the affected Local Government Areas are Ikenne, Remo North and Sagamu. Government hereby appeals to market men and women as well as residents of the State to troop out en-masse to give her a befitting burial.
