₦250m Club House Launch: Former Speaker Admonishes Countrymen to Foster Progress and Unity


Former Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, who currently serves as Chairman, House of Assembly Service Commission, Rt. Hon. Suraj Ishola Adekunbi, has admonished indigenes of Yewa communities to be symbols of excellence in their various professions and endeavor to foster progress and unity among themselves. 

The Ex-Speaker gave the admonition during an official unveiling of the Grand Ayetoro City Club and launching of two hundred and fifty million naira (₦250m) club house in Ayetoro, Yewa North area of Ogun State. 

Applauding the club members for their uniqueness and community team spirit, Adekunbi enjoined them to continue to see to the social and economic growth and development of Yewa communities. 

Delivering a paper titled, "Togetherness We Rise, Building Community Through Fellowship and Service", the guest speaker, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Management and Science, Kola Daisi University, Ibadan, Oyo State, Prof. Jendele Hungbo explained that unity was the key ingredient in building a community that leads to social, educational, infrastructurural and political development.

Prof. Hungbo admonished members of Grand Ayetoro City Club to work together and speak with one voice for the progress of humanity to elevate Ogun West and the State at large, saying that Ayetoro indigenes should be conscious of their identities while contributing their quota in their different professions. 

Speaking at the event, the Pioneer President, Grand Ayetoro City Club, Hon. Morakinyo Ogooluwa Akinleye, stated that the club was established with the aim that each member would contribute to the growth and sustainability of Ayetoro community and Ogun State. 

Akinleye added that the club composed indigenes of Ayetoro either by paternal or maternal relations for great transformation and collective participations in building the society with opportunities for development of the youths and Ayetoro community.
